ForensiT Transwiz "Cannot add transfer manifest" error

ISSUE: While using ForensiT's free Transwiz solution to move an entire user profile between computers (by saving onto a USB thumb drive) the User Profile Transfer Wizard stalls with a "Cannot add transfer manifest" error, as depicted below:

CAUSE: The User Profile Transfer Wizard packs an entire user profile into one giant .ZIP file. Depending on the amount of data in that user profile it is possible for the ZIP file to grow beyond 4GB.
If your USB thumb drive is formatted with ExFAT or FAT32 (usually done at the factory), you might encounter the 4GB file size limit of those filesystems.

SOLUTION: If you expect the source user profile to be 4GB or larger in size, you need to format your USB thumb drive to NTFS prior to using it with Transwiz.
