6-stud wide Lamborghini Countach
Originally the LEGO Speed Champions line of sets had cars that were just a little over 6 lego studs wide.
More recent series are going 8-stud wide. Sure, you can add more details to make the cars look even more than their real-life counterparts, but the car is so big compared to the minifigure driving it. I hear from others that the 8-stud models may be too big for their LEGO cities.
So in early January 2019 I decided not only to build myself a Lamborghini Countach out of LEGO but to also make it 6-studs wide.

I also made a last-minute change (in 2022 during the photo shoot) to the spoiler so that is is further back like it should.

More last-minute changes to the front to match the real-life counterpart a little better, but it creates some gaps, and a slope brick wedged in there is held by friction alone.

Updates:
(Me in January 2020): Back in 2019, the new transparent windscreen in the comparison picture (included with LEGO set 76895) above did not exist yet, but thanks to this new windscreen piece, I might convert my 6-studs wide Countach into 7-studs wide and have the ability to seat a passenger.
(Me in January 2022): LEGO is coming out with a Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach set!! OMG!! 8-stud wide though. I will buy it (comes in white), then try converting it to 7-stud wide someday, and/or gather some building tips to convert my existing red one into 7-studs wide.
(Me in March 2022): The LEGO Speed Champions Lamborghini Countach set 76908 is a good build, but I could improve on the door handle part.
(Me in February 2023): I have some time to attempt remaking a 6-stud-wide Lamborghini Countach, but I checked to see if anyone has done it before in a way that matches (or is better than) what I had in mind (ex: the door handle part). Turns out that someone beat me to it with IBrickedItUp's Lamborghini Countach - 76908 MOC 6-stud conversion (FREE build instructions and parts list are also provided on that page!).
(Me in March 2023): I'll just use IBrickedItUp's instructions and will focus my time instead on learning about the Microbric Edison robot.
